The Church on Steinhof (Kirche am Steinhof), or also known as St. Leopold's Church is the chapel of the Psychiatric Hospital of Vienna, created during the years 1904–1907 by the famous artist, town planner and university lecturer Otto Wagner, one of the frontrunner of Jugendstil in Vienna, Austria. As one can see here, he not only build the extraordinary city designs of apartment and business buildings, but also the most stunning state of the art nouveau religious buildings. Here, it plays on the links to the Orthodox church with its golden embellishments, the dome (although its shape of a lemon resounds in the locals describing it as the Lemoniberg).

In creating
patterned porcelain mugs which are inspired by the facades of the most famous Viennese Jugendstil buildings, 'The Golden Heart for Vienna' (DGHW) has crafted this piece as one of a series of 6.

The porcelain cups are specially produced by Kahla/Thüringen and decorated by hand.
