Cufflinks, Johannes Vermeer

Instead of getting dressed the ordinary way, here are the cufflinks that make you be the opposite. MC Escher loved to look at this world from opposite ends, hence, let your head spin and have a great start of a conversation with the person you would like to talk to much longer ...

The Girl

The Girl is one of the iconic paintings of Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675), one of the great Dutch masters of the Golden Age. Whether or not a portrait, it represents the internationally entangled trade world of the Netherlands of this time, showing a Dutch girl dressed in an exotic dress with an Eastern turban and wonderful earrings made from perls. This display underlines the world spanning trade that the Dutch dominated in those years.

With those cufflinks you get a very distinguished accessory - or maybe it is meant to be a very special gift.
