Johannes Vermeer (1632 – 1675) is one of the most famous Dutch painters, one of the Golden Age of Dutch art. When you want to get an insight into the higher middle class life of The Netherlands of the 17th century, you best pay a visit to the great Rijksmuseum in Amsterdlam where a great collection of his works are held. This includes the painting that we have replicated on an phone pouch here. It is the iconic Milkmaid from the years 1658-1660. It was Vermeer's heigt of artistic work, and represents one of his domestic interior scenes for which he became very famous. Despite such great art, he himself never produced an enormous number of art works, hence, what he shows is more aspiring what he himself never achieved. Of course, it also represents the patrons from which he made his poor living. The Dimension of the pouch: 7,5 x 14 cm
