Enhance your everyday style and let out your fashion style with this beautifully designed silk shawl. Manufactured from pure silk, this lovely, long scarf is decorated with intricate, arabesque patterns inspired by the wall art of Princess Louise's bedchambers within the walls of Wörlitz Castle. And since it is made of silk, this scarf is airy-light, and gives one a look of elegance with a touch of exoticism. Its size also gives more coverage so you can make it into a wrap or a pashmina. It can also be used as a decorative element in your home. The cool tones of blue and white along with the arabesque design give the shawl its uniqueness making it one of the perfect souvenirs for family or for friends!

Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz and Wörlitz Castle

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the gardens and parks of Dessau-Wörlitz is one of the largest English-inspired parks in Germany and Europe. The entire park features excellent landscaping designs and planning from the 18th century. Its diverse components include outstanding architectures, English-style landscaped parks and gardens, and subtly modified expanses of agricultural land.

Wörlitz Castle was one of the first architectures that established neo-classicism in Germany. Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff built it for Prince Franz. After returning from his Grand Tour Prince Franz chose Wörlitz as the starting point for his project to enhance the appearance of his country. This included the construction of a new house. Between 1769 and 1773 the castle was built emulating the country houses of the English nobility. The elaborate interior of the house and all its furnishings reflect the travels and artistic preferences of the Prince.
