Airlaid tablecloths are natural substitutions for cloth tablecloths because of their high absorbency, soft texture and strength due to being air-laid paper rather than the commonly used technique of wet-laid paper. Functional table cloths, which are also stylish are small luxuries that every household needs. Durable picnic tablecloth or any outdoor tablecloth is often hard to come by but not with this stunner! The stunning print on this table cloth was inspired by the a gorgeous mix of peacocks, other avian species and blooming peonies. This artwork is a wallpaper in the royal chamber of Prince Henry of Prussia within the walls of the New Palace in Sanssouci Park. Easily impress family and friends in any party with this custom made tablecloth. It's vintage and royal print is sure to pop some color onto your table setting and wow guests. It also makes for a great hostess gift or for your own home!

New Palace, Sanssouci Park

The New Palace - or Neues Palais in German - is one of the royal palaces built within the landscaped lawns of Sanssouci Park in Potsdam. The Park itself features baroque-style gardens filled with terraced lawns, fruit trees, flower beds and trimmed hedges all built upon the desires of Prussian King Frederick the Great. The New Palace was completed in 1769 and is considered to be the last grand, baroque-style Prussian palace. This Palace was the preferred palace of King Frederick the Great's brother, Prince Henry of Prussia. In his royal bedchambers lie the wallpaper that is the inspiration of this tablecloth design.
