What is a thimble - not just some tool for needlework, but a replica of antique thimbles

This charming thimble adorned with the portrait and initial of Prussia's Queen Consort, Frederick the Great, and a gold gilded rim makes for a regal ambiance while enjoying some needlework or simply as another valuable addition to a thimble collection. The beauty of these thimbles of Frederik the Great makes it a delightful decoration. Even if you are not into needlework, this souvenir is still a perfect present for yourself or for loved ones. Don't miss out on stitching with history's famous Prussian king, best known as Old Fritz!

Frederick II
Frederick II is more widely known as Frederick the Great. He ruled Prussia from 1712 until his death in 1786. He is known to have pushed Prussia into advancement and progress - not only economically and politically but as well as in the arts and philosophy. Many architectural beauties that still stand in Germany at present, such as the Berlin State Opera, the State Library Berlin, St. Hedwig's Cathedral, and Prince Henry's Palace (now Humboldt University), are legacies of this renowned King.
Frederick II is buried at his favorite summer residence Sanssouci in Potsdam, which was where he unwound from the stress of his executive duties and gave time for the arts and philosophy.
